About this grind:
This drive focuses on widening the back and sculpting the rear delts so your silhouette looks like it’s been drawn by Marvel Comics animators. This is aesthetic-back day and posture day. We don’t slouch, we dominate.
1) Lat Pulldown (wide grip) – 4 sets of 10–12 reps
Lead with elbows and pull to upper chest. Don’t lean back too much. This expands the width of your back visually.

2) DB Rear Delt Flys – 3 sets of 12–15 reps
Keep palms down and focus on pulling with rear delts. No swinging. Helps build shoulder balance and 3D shape.

3) T-Bar Row or Chest-Supported Row – 3 sets of 10 reps
Pull to hip line and squeeze shoulder blades. Stable torso = cleaner reps. This builds dense, thick back muscle.

4) Straight Arm Cable Pulldowns – 3 sets of 12–15 reps
Pull with arms straight, focusing completely on lats. Think “drive arms into pockets”. Great for lat isolation.

5) Rear Delt Machine – 3 sets of 12 reps
If available, control weight and pause at contraction. Don’t let traps take over. This polishes rear delt aesthetic.

6) Renegade Rows – 3 sets of 10 reps per arm
Keep hips stable and core tight while rowing. Heavy anti-rotation challenge. Builds functional strength AND core stability.

Cooldown / Warm Down
Stretch lats and rear delts with cross-body and overhead stretches. Spend a moment breathing and relaxing shoulders. This helps maintain mobility and prevents tightness in upper back.
